Moveset[]
Playstyle[]
Zuko is a tactical all-rounder who uses his swords for better stats, and focuses on high damage and brutal combos. However, sharing similar flaws with Azula, his speed is only about average, he is lightweight and his recovery is incredibly weak.
Light Attacks[]
- Traveler of the Fire Nation (Neutral Grounded), Sword Slashes (Sword): Punches twice forward before doing a burst of flame from his palms. With his sword, this becomes a more powerful slashing attack. DAMAGE - 2 (Hits 1-2, Fire) 5 (Hit 3, Fire), 3 (Hits 1-2, Sword), 7 (Hit 3, Sword)
- Dancing Dragon Steps (Side Grounded): Punches forward with fire two times before doing a roundhouse kick. If you press the special button after the first hit, Zuko does an upward sword slash. If the special button is pressed after the second hit, Zuko does a downward slash that spikes opponents. Damage - 3 (Hits 1-2), 7 (Hit 3, Kick), 2 (Hit 1, Upper Sword), 4 (Hit 2, Upper Sword), 9 (Down Sword)
- Burning Uppercut (Up Grounded): Does a flaming uppercut. DAMAGE - 8
- Dragonbone Poke (Down Grounded): Does a flaming sweep kick which launches horizontally. DAMAGE - 7
- Smoke and Shadow (Neutral Aerial): Does a pose in the air while fire bursts from his limbs. Similar to Gerald's Neutral Air, and only has hitboxes on the flames. DAMAGE - 12 (Sweet), 7 (Sour)
- Blaze of Zoryu (Forward Aerial): Swings his leg upward with fire. With his sword, he slashes horizontally for more damage. DAMAGE - 6 (Kick), 11 (Sword)
- Iroh's Legacy (Back Aerial): Punches backward. Low range but high KO power. DAMAGE - 14
- Flames of Rage (Up Aerial): Kicks upward, hitting twice. DAMAGE - 2 (Hit 1), 10 (Hit 2)
- Explosive Honor (Down Aerial): Slams his fists downward. Spikes opponents. DAMAGE - 14 (Sweet), 8 (Sour)
Strong Attacks[]
- Fire Whips (Side Grounded), Sword Sweep (Sword): Slams two flaming whips downward. When the swords are out, it becomes a quicker, powerful sword slash. DAMAGE - 15 (Sweet), 12 (Sour), 16 (Sword)
- Fire Geyser (Up Grounded): Shoots a pillar of flame upward with very large vertical range. DAMAGE - 15 (Sweet), 13 (Sour)
- Ursa’s Warmth (Down Grounded): Creates waves of fire on both sides of him. Large range. DAMAGE - 12
- Aerial Fire Explosion (Side Aerial): Creates a large burst of fire in front of himself. With his swords this becomes a horizontal slash. DAMAGE - 12 (Fire Sweet), 10 (Fire Sour) 14 (Swords)
- Flame Lotus (Up Aerial): Zuko does a flaming spinning kick, which allows him to rise diagonally upwards a bit and can be used to recover. Can only be used once per airtime. The move hits multiple times. DAMAGE - 1 (Hits 1-5), 8 (Hit 6)
- Sozin’s Comet Descent (Down Aerial): Does a downward diving kick. Spikes at the beginning of the move and has a powerful hitbox when he lands. DAMAGE - 15 (Sweet), 12 (Sour), 9 (Landing)
Special Attacks[]
- Dancing Dragon Punch (Neutral): Zuko charges up a powerful forward strike that creates a flaming dragon head. Although it has a long startup and short range, it’s a very powerful attack, and it applies the burn effect. DAMAGE - 25 (Base)
- Slime Version: Deals more damage, and can break a full shield instantly. DAMAGE - 30 (Base)
- Ring of Fire (Side): Zuko throws a ring of fire in front of him that travels a medium distance. Tapping the button makes it go faster, while holding the button makes it go slower. DAMAGE - 8
- Slime Version: Shoots fire rings on both sides of Zuko.
- Ascent of Azulon (Up): Zuko launches himself in the air with a burst of fire. Doesn’t travel very far, and immediately puts him in special fall. DAMAGE - 8
- Slime Version: Travels higher and faster, as well as automatically converting to Strong Down Air.
- Unsheathe Swords (Down): Zuko pulls out dual broadswords, which changes some his normal attacks to quick sword strikes. They can be thrown and subsequently picked up like an Item. If the swords fall off-stage, they become unusable for a few seconds. You can also pull out the swords during your grounded light side attack; each part of the move transitioning into the sword moveset with a different attack. DAMAGE - 7 (Swords Thrown)
- Slime Version: Dashes forward when pulling out the swords, which can be used for recovery. DAMAGE- None
Throws[]
- Forward Throw: Tosses the opponent away.
- Back Throw:
- Up Throw: Tosses the opponent upward and burns them as Zuko splits his hands leaving a fiery trail.
- Down Throw: Does a split kick on the opponent.
Other[]
- Crossroads of Destiny (Dash Attack): Dashes forward while slashing his hands downward. Fast and powerful. DAMAGE - 12
- Ultimate Attack: Uses Sozin's Comet to channel his firebending power into a powerful blast. DAMAGE - 40
