Sewers Slam is a stage in both Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl games, originating from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. It was revealed during the respective games’ initial reveal trailers on July 13th, 2021 and July 27th, 2023 respectively. In NASB 1, it was the home stage of Leonardo.
Description[]
In Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Sewers Slam is a small stage with one stationary platform. The main platform has two walls on either side that extend past the bottom of the stage. The pipes in the background occasionally spill out sewer sludge that pushes fighters in the direction they flow, before sinking into one of the vents on the main platform.
In Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, the stage was overhauled completely. The stage is now larger with walk-offs and two semi-solid platforms in the center. The stage's terrain slopes slightly upward on either side, and two large pipes on either side of the stage serve as solid platforms with walk-offs. Another pipe also sits at the top of the stage, acting as another wall. The sludge hazard from the first game no longer exists.
Origin[]
The stage is set near the Turtle Lair; which is located inside of a specific area of the New York sewers. The area is the living quarters of the Turtles and Master Splinter. The background of the second game features the living room of the Turtle Lair.
The first game features a background appearance of Mondo Gecko. Mondo Gecko was a normal gecko until he got mutated and was taken by Mr. X. After meeting Michelangelo, Gecko was convinced to turn against Mr. X. After Mr. X's defeat, Mondo became an ally to the Turtles.
