Sheldon J. Plankton, usually referred to as Plankton, is the main antagonist of SpongeBob SquarePants. He is a playable character in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2.
Biography[]
Plankton is a planktonic copepod who lives in Bikini Bottom. He runs the Chum Bucket; a restaurant located just across the street from the Krusty Krab that’s wildly unpopular due to exclusively serving chum - a disgusting pile of slop that not even Plankton himself enjoys. Plankton, despite being only a few inches tall, has large ambitions only comparable to his massive ego (and surprisingly deep voice). He wishes to dominate the fast-food industry (and eventually the world) by putting Mr. Krabs, his life-long rival, out of business by stealing the Krabby Patty Secret Formula, which would allow him to make the ever-popular Krabby Patty and gain way more business. He uses his incredible intellect and mechanical know-how to use in his many attempts to steal it by making a number of different gizmos and robots, often with the help of his sassy computer wife Karen. However, his attempts always fail one way or the other, usually by his own short-sightedness. He often tries to take advantage of others to take the formula, such as SpongeBob, but these plans usually fail too. Despite his antagonistic nature, abrasive personality and bad reputation among the Bikini Bottomites, there are rare times where he’ll help deal with a greater problem, even if it’s against his will.
In Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2[]
Plankton debuts as a playable character in the upcoming sequel. To compensate for his size, he pilots Mecha-Plankton from The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, ironically making him one of the largest characters in the game. Plankton uses a combination of projectiles, command grabs, and his computer wife Karen to obliterate the competition!
