Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is a platform fighter released on October 5th, 2021 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It was developed by Ludosity and Fair Play Labs and published by GameMill Entertainment. A sequel, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, was released on November 7th, 2023.
Gameplay[]
The game has a similar play style to games like the Super Smash Bros series and Ludosity's previous own platform fighter (Slap City) in which players build their opponents' damage and launch them off the stage.

Playable Characters[]

There are 25 playable characters, 20 of which were included with the base game. Garfield and Shredder were both released as free DLC fighters on December 9th, 2021 and February 3rd, 2022 respectively. Three paid DLC fighters were announced on May 13th, 2022 as part of the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Universe Pack; which includes Jenny, Hugh Neutron and Rocko. Jenny was released that same day, while Hugh was released on August 5th, 2022 and Rocko was released on October 7th, 2022.

- This game is tangentially related to Super Brawl; a series of flash games (and one mobile entry) that were also fighting games featuring Nickelodeon characters.
- This marks the first of few things:
- The first video game to be released for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S.
- The first crossover game to have voice acting since Nicktoons MLB.
- The first playable appearances of Oblina, Hugh Neutron, Nigel Thornberry, April O'Neil, and Garfield in a crossover game.
- The first Nickelodeon fighting game on a console.
- The first game to include DLC.
- The first game to use the 1987's designs of the Turtles.
- The first time Garfield appears in any Nickelodeon media.
- According to Richard Steven Horvitz (Zim's voice actor), it is confirmed that he was not cast to voice Zim at the time.
- This marks the first console crossover game to include any characters from Aaahh!!! Real Monsters and The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius since Nicktoons MLB, as well as the first to include characters from The Wild Thornberrys since 2007's Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots.
- Unlike the previous Nickelodeon crossover games involving the Ninja Turtles, the Turtles, April, and Shredder in this game are the versions from the 1987 cartoon, who guest-starred in two episodes of the 2012 series.
- Fighters such as Aang, Korra, April, Ren & Stimpy and CatDog were leaked in an early box art.
- On September 15th, DLC been confirmed for the game, as well as possible voice acting for the characters. Voice acting was officially confirmed, along with the addition of items, on June 6, 2022.
- Korra is the only fighter without a reveal trailer uploaded by GameMill's Youtube Channel.
- On November 20, costumes have been confirmed in the official Twitter account.
- To date, SpongeBob, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, Helga Pataki, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Shredder, Reptar, Lincoln Loud, Zim (and GIR), Aang, Korra, Danny Phantom, CatDog, Jenny and Rocko are the only playable characters from Nickelodeon Super Brawl series to return in this game.
- This is the second game to have a location based on Double Dare to appear, after Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix.
- On December 15th, crossplay was initially confirmed for the game but nothing came to be. This would later be confirmed for the sequel of the game.
- This is the third platform fighting game to involve the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; the first was 2009's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up (released right before Nickelodeon acquired the franchise) and then earlier in 2021 with skins of the Turtles in Brawlhalla.
