Goth and gloomy. In a poetic way.
Lucy Loud is a playable character in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, originating from The Loud House. She was announced in the reveal trailer released on July 27th, 2023.
Moveset[]
Playstyle[]
Lucy is a stance fighter who relies on constantly changing between her Normal, Vampire and Ghost mode to work her advantage. However, she has various weaknesses in each form.
Gimmick[]
As said above, Lucy can switch between two unique forms; Ghost and Vampire.
Light Attacks[]
- Fangs Attack (Neutral Grounded): A three hit jab utilizing Fangs and her other pet bats.
- Mortician's Club Gravel (Side Grounded): Swings a skull hammer forward. DAMAGE: 8
- Learning Your Doom (Up Grounded): Uses a crystal ball to have a spectral force rise upward. Great vertical range. DAMAGE: 6
- Eight Of Spades (Down Grounded): Digs the ground in front of her with a shovel. She moves forward a bit with each use of the move.
- Triangle of Power (Neutral Aerial): Spins in a circle.
- Fangs Attack (Forward Aerial): Has Fangs fly forward. DAMAGE: 8
- Back Axe Kick (Back Aerial): Grows wings that flap backwards, providing horizontal movement. DAMAGE: 10
- Three of Swords (Up Aerial): Swings a tarot card above herself. DAMAGE: 9
- Spade Slice (Down Aerial): Swings a spade downward. DAMAGE: 8
Strong Attacks[]
- Crystal Ball/Edwin/Ethereal Power (Side Grounded): Throws her crystal ball a short distance that shatters on the ground. Ghost and Vampire modes change this move. The Ghost version shoots a spectral orb that travels very far, and the Vampire version drops a bust of Edwin, which acts similarly to Villager's Bowling Ball in the Smash Bros. series. DAMAGE: 12 (Crystal), 8 (Orb), 10 (Edwin)
- Sigh (Up Grounded): Swings her scythe upward. DAMAGE:
- Coffin Slam (Down Grounded): Enters a coffin which slams into the ground. DAMAGE: 17 (Normal), 15 (Ghost), 18 (Vampire)
- Umbrella Poke/Shovel Poke (Side Aerial): Thrusts her umbrella or shovel forward. DAMAGE: 16
- Aerial Scythe (Up Aerial): Spins her scythe upward, which hits multiple times and halts her falling speed.
- Fallout Digger (Down Aerial): Thrusts a spear downward, acting as a stall-then-fall. If it connects, it bumps you upward, allowing the move to hit up to three times before spiking.
Special Attacks[]
- Dark Bite (Neutral): Chomps forward which steals the opponents slime and gains increased damage output. Ghost: Gains a movement speed buff and slow down her opponent. Vampire: The bite hits harder and inflicts poison.
- Slime Version: Lunges forward, providing more range and mobility. (All 3 Versions)
- Jumpscare (Side): Teleports forward. The move hits when she disappears and reappears, and can dodge attacks if timed right. Ghost: Doesn't deal damage, but is much faster than the base version, making the move act similarly to it's NASB 1 incarnation. Vampire: Only hits opponents at the end, but makes up for that by dealing a good amount of damage with a coffin.
- Slime Version: Travels further, increasing recovery potential. (All 3 Versions)
- Flight of the Bats/ Lucille/ Song of Silence (Up): Gets lifted in the air by her bat which deals damage as she is rising in the air. Ghost: Lucille Loud lifts you up for a very short amount of time, acting like a third jump. Vampire: Grows wings which launch her up in the air quickly, as well as dealing good damage and knockback, like Kazuya's Devil Wings in the Smash Bros. series.
- Slime Version: Normal: Goes further. Ghost: Stops momentum and can float horizontally, similarly to April's Up Special. Vampire: Goes further upward, as well as having a spike hitbox at the beginning of the move.
- A Poem (Down): Cycles between Ghost, Vampire, and Normal in that order. Ghost is generally faster, but is lighter and weaker in damage. Vampire is slower, but makes up for it with more powerful attacks. Normal is the default and the form Lucy starts the match in.
- Slime Version: The state change is twice as fast, gains super armor, and has a hitbox similar to that of a shine (e.g. Garfield & El Tigre's Neutral Specials)
Throws[]
- Grab: Traps the opponent in a magical force.
- Pummel:
- Forward Throw: Spins the opponent in a circle before launching them.
- Back Throw: Tosses the opponent backward.
- Up Throw: Tosses the opponent upward. DAMAGE: 10
- Down Throw: Slams the opponent into the ground.
Other[]
- Ghostly Float/ Bat Swarm (Dash Attack): Headbutts into the opponent. A basic get-off-me tool. Lucy teleports forward with a damaging swarm of bats.
- Ultimate Attack: Unleashes a tornado of bats with her scythe to attack her opponents while laughing.
