Stage Variations[]

Multiple stages have variants designed for competitive players - there come in 4 basic mutations: Clean, Double Platform, Triangle Platform, and Moving. These variant layouts have their own variants

  • The Triangle forms of Harmonic Convergence, Pariah's Keep, and Royal Woods Cemetary have upside down platforms
  • The Triangle form of Miracle City Volcano has the platforms laid out in a row and not a triangle
  • The Double Platform variants of Technodrome Takedown, Food Dream, Tremorton Joyride, and Training have platforms that go off of the edge of the stage instead of above it.
  • The Triangle variants of Technodrome Takedown and Tremorton Joyride have left and right platforms that go off of the edge of the stage instead of above it.
  • The Clean form of Rooftop Rumble has a static platform.

Additionally, some stages have visual differences from their casual layouts.

  • Tremorton Joyride stays static in the city section.
  • Various Jimmy inventions and photographs of his friends can be seen on Jimmy's Lab.

Some of these stage layouts are featured by default in the casual stage list - Food Dream has a standard Double Platform layout, and Training and Royal Woods Cemetary share the Clean stage layout - there is no difference between standard Royal Woods Cemetary and clean Royal Woods Cemetary, but Double Platform Sweet Dreams - as mentioned - has a different platform layout, and Clean Training becomes smaller.

  • Casual Harmonic Convergence
  • Casual Tremorton Joyride
  • Moving Jellyfish Fields

  • Double Technodrome Takedown
  • Casual Sweet Dreams

Over time, Harmonic Convergence would be swapped for a Triangle layout and Royal Woods Cemetary would be replaced with Clean Pariah's Keep.

In the Iroh update, the ranked stage selection would be completely reworked, now having less unique layouts, and replacing Harmonic Convergence alltogether (for the second time) with the Timeless Stardial.

  • Double Tremorton Joyride
  • Moving Food Dream
  • Triangle Jellyfish Fields
  • Traingle Pariah's Keep
