Gary the Snail is a reoccurring character from SpongeBob SquarePants. He appears as a background character in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, and an NPC in the Campaign mode of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2.
Biography[]
Gary is SpongeBob's pet sea snail, the underwater equivalent of a house cat. Despite this, Gary is actually much more intelligent than his animal nature implies; his dreams prove him to be deeply familiar with literature his owner has never heard about, he's the one in charge of paying the electric bill, and he's even descended from royalty. Gary was a stray, hailing from a forest near the summer camp Kamp Koral, where he first met a young SpongeBob. Years later, he would end up in the care of the Bikini Bottom Animal Shelter, where he was finally adopted.
In Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl[]
Gary appears as a background character in both Jellyfish Fields and Glove World.
In Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2[]
In addition to once again appearing in the background of Jellyfish Fields, Gary also appears as an NPC vendor in the Campaign mode. He can be found in the Timeless Stardial, sitting on SpongeBob's Bubblestand. He sells various decorations for the Stardial that can be bought with Splats. Every fighter also has unique dialogue upon interacting with Gary for the first time.
