Moveset[]
Playstyle[]
El Tigre is a lightweight rushdown character that excels in pressuring opponents with very quick normals and a spectacular combo game. However, his range is mediocre, he lacks a projectile, and he can be K.O.'d very easily.
Light Attacks[]
- Punch and Kicks Combo (Neutral Grounded): Does a flurry of kicks before ending off with a big kick. DAMAGE: 3 (Hits 1-2), 1 (Flurry), 3 (Finisher)
- Frontal Slash (Side Grounded): Slashes forward. DAMAGE: 11
- Backwards Heel Kick (Up Grounded): Kicks upward. Hits opponents behind. DAMAGE: 7
- Claw Sweep (Down Grounded): A slash downwards. Good combo starter. DAMAGE: 5
- Spin Cyclone (Neutral Aerial): Surrounds himself with buzzsaws while spinning. A combo move at low percents, and a kill move at high percents. Also acts as a lingering attack, growing weaker over time. DAMAGE: 13 (Sweet), 8 (Sour)
- La Garra (Forward Aerial): Swings his claws forward. El Tigre's bread and butter combo tool that can chain into almost anything. DAMAGE: 7
- El Taco (Back Aerial): Does a backwards kick. DAMAGE: 10
- Cross Cut (Up Aerial): Swings his claws upward. Acts as a spectacular juggling tool that's strongest right at the tip. DAMAGE: 12 (Sweet), 8 (Weak)
- Downwards Swipe (Down Aerial): Swings his claws downward. Has a bit of startup but delivers a powerful spike. DAMAGE: 18
Strong Attacks[]
- Claw Swipe (Side Grounded): A powerful forward slash. Has very little startup, but has a bit of endlag. One of El Tigre's strongest moves overall. DAMAGE: 17
- Upwards Cut (Up Grounded): Slashes upward. The move is strongest when hit right at the top. DAMAGE: 17 (Sweet), 13 (Sour)
- Sideways Slash (Down Grounded): Swings his claws on both sides of himself. Has the least range of his strong attacks, but also has nearly just as much knockback as his Side Charge and is his fastest strong. DAMAGE: 15
- Spin Tornado (Side Aerial): Turns his hands into a buzzsaw and uses them for a multi-hit attack. DAMAGE: 1 (Hits 1-5), 10 (Hit 6)
- El Tigre Lunge (Up Aerial): Slashes diagonally upward with green fire. Travels upward as well for recovery. DAMAGE: 12
- Spinning Armadillo (Down Aerial): A diving kick. Charging it in the air has him stall in the air. The attack spikes right when the move comes out, and launches upward otherwise. DAMAGE: 15
Special Attacks[]
- Rugido (Neutral): Roars, surrounding himself with green flame. The move is extremely quick and is a very useful combo tool, as well as being able to reflect projectiles. Behaves similarly to Garfield's Neutral Special. DAMAGE: 5
- Slime Version: Has invincibility at Frame 1.
- El Gancho (Side): Extends his claw to grab opponents. Launches perfectly to continue combos. It is a hit grab, meaning it will ignore shields. DAMAGE: 5
- Slime Version: Prevents El Tigre from moving forward during the grab, making combos easier.
- Destello (Up): Surrounds his claw with green fire, instantly having him dash in any direction. The move is a powerful KO option when hit right when El Tigre finishes his dash. DAMAGE: 15
- Slime Version: Goes much higher, but with additional startup.
- Illusión (Down): Dashes forward. Mostly a recovery tool, as it comes out slowly and doesn't have a lot of offensive power.. DAMAGE: 8
- Slime Version: Hits three times.
Throws[]
- Grab: Grabs in front of him with his claws.
- Pummel: Strikes his opponent with his knee.
- Forward Throw: Steps back before slashing forwards with his claws, sending foes forward. DAMAGE: 6
- Back Throw: A giant swing. DAMAGE: 10
- Up Throw: Shoots the claws out of his hand to launch opponents upward. Primary combo throw. DAMAGE: 6
- Down Throw: Hops and does a small spin in the air before slamming into the opponent and launching them upwards. DAMAGE: 8
Other[]
- Barrida (Dash Attack): Does a sliding kick. Launches opponents upward.
- Super Attack: El Tigre unleashes the Ancient Tiger Spirit and then does a flurry of dashes at various angles. DAMAGE: 40
